About Us

Founding and Act: The establishment of "Plant Breeding Research Center" under Trakya University Rectorate was decided at the meeting of the Higher Education Council Executive Board in 22.08.1995. Then it was established based Law No. 2547 of 2880 as amended by Law 7/d-2 accordance with Article. The Regulation of Center was published in the Official Gazette dated 19.10.1995.

Mission Statement: In the plant breeding area; conducting research, review, applications and providing consultation in that related issues, Constituting  the data base in Plant Breeding and Genetic, organizing national and international conferences, seminars, symposium and courses
